Toronto Camp an Outstanding Success! The first Kaurs United Toronto Sikh Women’s Camp was attended by over 80 Sikh women, 10 facilitators from Ontario & BC, and an overwhelming network of support from the entire community. From May 1st to 4th, the camp participants enjoyed exciting and inspiring activities, workshops, lectures, recreation, keertan darbars, and the World Premiere Screening of Sundri: A Brave Kaur, by Vismaad Productions. Many attendees from B.C. mentioned that it was one of the greatest and most inspirational Kaurs United events they had ever attended! Indeed, Kaurs felt empowered to be in each others’ graced presence, in the sharan of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji, while learning about their heritage, internal gifts, and fait. Testimonials from the Kaurs United Toronto Sikh Women’s Camp will be added to the list of long Kaurs United testimonials, and photographs of the joyous four days have been uploaded onto www.kaursunited.org/gallery. |
